An ideal birthday for T - Mon 4th Nov 2013

This little (or not so little now) man was 11 years old today, the years and the day have flown by incredibly quickly.

T's had a near-perfect day for him; lots of football-related presents and cards, his main one being in the picture above with his one-of-a-kind case and not only having after-school football club but football training tonight too(!).

It's meant that D and I saw him for 2 hours this morning and 1 hour after school, they've been a good 3 hours though.

What with T being a very happy chappie with his gifts and D being very excited for him that it was his birthday, they've got along nicely.

Needless to say, D couldn't wait to bounce into school and tell people it was T's birthday and about our day at Legoland yesterday.

It's all in the blog-that-never-was last night, which will hopefully appear once the rest of it comes back, but (preview), D dubbed herself "The Queen of Scream" after her very enthusiastic screaming on the roller coasters yesterday. Little adrenalin-seeker that she is! She took lots of visual prompts in for News today, including this picture:
